July 23, 2026 - Release 6.15.0

  • Instructor App

    • Study Path: Prep Questions for topics covered by a Readiness Reading now stay hidden until the Reading is complete, so students don't work ahead in courses with no (or not-yet-published) Homework.

    • Content Browser refinements: Question Bank now sorts by Learning Objective, plus a scrollbar on the menu for easier browsing.

    • Bug fix: In rare cases, editing a recently modified assessment from the Assessments list could revert recent changes.

  • Co-instructor content sharing! Co-instructors can now collaborate on custom content more flexibly:

    • See and assign each other's custom LOs to questions.

    • Copy and modify a co-instructor's custom question to create your own version.

    • Change linked LOs on a co-instructor's question (with guardrails to protect content in other courses).

  • Browse Content: See In-Class Activities previews alongside Readings and Question Bank. Switch between materials in a topic. 

  • UI fix: Cleaned up notification button margins for tertiary/cancel text links.

June 8, 2026 - Release 6.13.0

  • Content Browser! Easily peruse and preview Readings and Question Banks for Introducing the Life Sciences and Genetics.

  • Bug fix: Study Path timeline pills (Prep Qs and Practice Tests) now show the active pill outline when you're inside the Study Path Builder.

  • Refined LTI launch error logic extended to include Willo integrations (6.11.0 release only included Codon LTI)

    • Clearer, more actionable error messages when instructors or students encounter issues during LMS launch.

    • Specific messaging for: no available courses to link, student launching before instructor has linked the course, and new users launching before the course is set up.

May 26, 2026 - Release 6.12.0

Student App

  • Study Path usability improvements!

    • Clearer tracking of Study Path completion: The “Study Path” bubble on the timeline has been replaced with two bubbles: “Prep Qs” and “Practice Test”. Each will receive their own checkmark once completed to allow for easier checking of when they are complete from Course Home.

    • Navigate to past Prep Questions (Study Path Checkpoint 2) and Practice Tests more easily! Rather than using the dropdown menu from within the current Study Path, clicking on a timeline bubble or link on the Assignments page will take you directly to the associated past Study Path.

    • Revisit past Practice Tests two ways from inside the Study Path: Retry problems for practice OR view initial attempts.

  • Major overhaul of preset functionality and messaging to address issues.

    • Whether assessments are updated is now based on whether they are started, NOT open date.

    • “Reset ALL presets” option added (note that this applies across all assess types every time!)

    • Listing of skipped assessments rather than included assessments

    • Better messaging around how late policy changes are handled

  • Edit assignment titles (quickly and easily!) from the Assessments page

  • Co-instructors can sync scores and enable sync of assessments again!

Instructor App

  • Assessment Flexibility: Instructors can now change the due date, late date, and late penalty of assessments at any time.

  • Study Path Warning: A new warning notifies instructors when students do not have an available Study Path for Homework point recapture.

  • User Experience (UX) Enhancements: Assessment and custom question editing are now smoother.

  • Score Sync Fixes (6.6.1, 6.6.3, and 6.7.0).

Student App

  • Practice Test Review: Resolved a bug where open-response question responses were matched with the wrong question stem (6.6.4).

  • Network Stability: Fixed an issue where poor network connection caused a mismatch between the current question and its validation status (6.6.6).

Instructor App

  • Move an LO to a different topic even if students have started working on related assessments in the Study Path. The platform previously blocked this.

  • Switch between the Daily Planner and Course Planner by clicking “Day X” or “Week X” shortcuts. 

  • Turn TadPoll on from the Course Settings page. If you’re using TadPoll not for points, toggle on “Hide scores from students…” as well.

  • Bug fix: Readiness Readings were displayed in the order they were added to the library, not their intended order in the course.

  • Grade sync performance improvements
